Обсуждается роль полифенолов в профилактике ряда связанных с окислительным стрессом заболеваний. Синтез генотипов разных культур (слива, персик), богатых фенольными соединениями с усиленными антиоксидантными и красящими свойствами, демонстрирует широкие возможности селекции в создании растений косточковых культур с лечебно-профилактическими особенностями плодов. Приводится пример интенсификации селекционного процесса, который показывает возможность обновления сортов на основе специализированных признаков плодов.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>In the review article the relationship between the antioxidant activity of plant fruit tissues and the accumulation of polyphenol compounds in them is examined. The role of polyphenols in the prevention of a number of diseases associated with oxidative stress is discussed. Synthesis of genotypes of different cultures (plum, peach), rich in phenolic compounds with enhanced antioxidant and coloring properties, demonstrates the wide possibilities of selection in the creation of stone plants with therapeutic and preventive features fruits.
